CAMP 2018 CAMPer Registration Instructions

Thank you for choosing CAMP, Constructing Assured and Motivated People. This year's CAMP session is August 5 August 11, 2018. The fee is $230.00 before discounts.

CAMPer Registration Instructions
A $59 deposit is required to register and payments may be made at any time, but the balance of the Early Bird Discount ($219) must be made before May 5, 2018 for the discount to apply. If not the discount will be removed and the full price will be applyed to your account.

Payments may be made through Master Card, Visa or Discover by logging in through the link within your confirmation email .

Please follow the instructions listed below to register:
The registration form is short with additional follow-up forms to be completed.
1. Returning campers will need to log into their registration account using the user name and password from the previous year. Please follow the link on the login page if you are unable to remember your password.
2. New campers will need to create an account. There is no charge for opening your account.
3. In the Cart, you will have the option to pay in full, pay a deposit ($59.00) or choose a payment option.
4. Parents, if you have another child to register, you may select "add another registration" at this time.
5. You may donate to Camperships or join our support organization "SFA"
6. The CAMPer Rules are found on the registration form. Both the Parents and Camper must read and "accept" the rules to register.
7. There is a waiver that you must accept from the registration software company allowing them to accept /store your information.
8. If you are a Grad CAMPer, please choose under grade "adult 18+" even if you are not 18 yet.
9. Any discounts will automatically apply in the cart.
10. You may make payments by logging back into your account at any time. A link to your account will be on your camper registration confirmation email. We suggest you save and place this email in a folder for easy access to your account.
11. If you have a coupon code, it can be entered in the cart.
12. Please be advised that there are No Refunds After July 1. 2018.
Please note that there is a $9 (non-refundable)processing fee that is automatically added to each registration.

CAMP Staff Application Instructions

NOTE to previous staff members: The application has changed. Please read all instructions before applying. This includes verifying any information, i.e. address, phone number, email address, etc. We will be communicating by email and Facebook postings on our “CAMP 2018 Staff” group.

Thank you for your interest in being a staff member at our week long camping program. CAMP, Constructing Assured and Motivated People, is a traditional spiritually motivating youth program which will be held from August 5 –11, 2018. Staff must report to Tar Hollow State Park, located in southeastern Ohio, on Saturday, August 4. Our program is staffed with all volunteers and you must be 18 years of age to apply.

The general staff classifications have been expanded, so please read through each description before applying. You may apply for more than one position, if you choose. NEW this year, we will be interviewing each applicant to further review the position you are applying for. This will enable us to see where your talents and abilities will fit into the program.

Applications must be submitted by March 1 to be considered for CAMP 2018 Staff.

We offer 4 classifications of staff.

1. Cabin Counselor: Primary responsibilities include being a positive role model and seeing to the safety and well-being of your assigned campers, setting up and maintaining a clean cabin, knowing where your campers are at all times, participating with your campers in all CAMP events and activities, and cooperating with your co-counselor (if one is assigned). In addition, tearing down and cleaning your cabin along with any other assigned area for a final Tar Hollow ranger inspection on Saturday. Secondary responsibilities may include teaching/assisting with classes and assigned daily activities, and set up/tear down of special activities.
2. Kitchen Staff: Responsibilities for this position includes set-up of CAMP kitchen, preparation of meals, cleaning of kitchen area daily and clean-up of kitchen for inspection on final Saturday.
You will be working with campers and staff daily.
3. Leadership Staff: This position includes (but not limited to) CAMP directors/administrators, CAMP ministers, First Aid Director, Craft Hall Supervisor, Security Supervisor, Dining Hall Supervisor, Lodge Coordinator, Hill Supers, and Specialize High Adventure Supervisors, (i.e. Waterfront Director, Archery, Air Rifle, and Rappelling). Position responsibilities include supervising/evaluating staff under your activity, teaching/assisting in classes, leading or assisting in daily and special event CAMP activities, as well as, clean up for final Tar Hollow ranger inspection on Saturday. Bunking assignment may be in a cabin as an assistant cabin counselor.
4. Support Staff: The responsibilities for this positions may include being team members for crafts, security, maintenance, waterfront (life guard), and maintenance. In addition, you may be asked to assist in classes, daily activities, and special event activities, as well as, clean up for final Tar Hollow ranger inspection.

Again, staff applications need to be submitted by March 1, 2018 to be considered. Staff interviews will be scheduled in the month of March.
