WE’RE
A HAPPY FAMILY!

be the permanent
theme
song for C.A.M.P., couldn’t it?
We are a happy family, and indeed we
do love each other.
In preparation for this February Morning Watch,
I looked up the word love on the internet dictionary. It was not
very helpful. So I turned to C.A.M.P. for a better definition.
What
is it that makes us all love each other?
Surely we don’t all really like
each other! -Not all the time, anyway....and we have personality conflicts
big time! But yet we do love each other!
How can you tell this?
Because, we all
are pulling for each other.
Each of us are on
our own personal growth trail,
and
we each would do anything that we could to help one another stay on his or
her path!
We grieve with each other’s sorrows, and
we rejoice with each other’s success! (“And
when you win the prize-- I’m so glad you won the prize. It’s great to
be alive, and I hope you realize that you 
can Count On Me!”)
I think that’s it!
You can count on me! AND that is LOVE!
WE count on each of the staff to do his or
her specific job, and they do!
But if we see they need help, we pitch in!
If we see a fellow camper struggling with
a task, we help! We reach out a hand!
If a fellow camper is having troubles,
I’ll try to understand.....and I hope he realizes that he or
she can ………“Count On Me!”
This is a far better definition of
love than any I found on the internet!
At C.A.M.P., we count on each other!
And that is why we are a happy family!
Maybe we can spread that throughout the
world
