GOD IS LOVE!
This is the month of Love-- the time when we think
about what we will give to our special someone.
The TV will tell us that it
should be a pajama-gram or a bandit bear, but Is
that really love? Well, what is love?
The Bible tell
us that God is Love. And he loves us
unconditionally!
Which means
He loves us no matter what we do or say or look like.
Hmmm-- That’s love???
Wow! I’m not sure I can do
that!
What if she hates the
pajama-gram or the bear?
What
if she says that’s a jerky kind of ?
And what if she really
doesn’t look that great in the pajama-gram anyway?
Are you gonna
love her anyway-- no matter what she does--or says or looks like?
You will if you follow His
example.
Gosh, this Love stuff is
complicated!
The apostle, Paul, sending
out the teachings of Jesus to the world told the people of
“Love bears all things,
believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.”
He also told them “Love never
fails.” and also that though Faith is important, as well as hope, the greatest of these three is love.
Real love, he is talking about.
(The kind that bears, believes,
hopes, and endures all things)
Yep, even when your pajama-
gram or bandit bear is rejected!
Paul said a lot of other
stuff about love. I suggest that you go to 1st Corinthians: 13 and see all that
he says on the subject. You just might find out a bit about love that you never
considered before.
Yes, God is Love, and are we
not all his children?--which means that we also are Love! We just need to 
realize
that! And act like it!
“Happy
Valentines Day” everyone. Hope you
come up with just the right words or gift to tell your special someone that! An
attitude of Love will be better than any card or gift though!
