DAY OF ADVENT

PREPARE YE THE WAY OF THE LORD!
In the days before Jesus’ birth, God sent another to first prepare
the way--John the
Baptist. So, too, we need to
prepare the way for Jesus’ birth in our lives
today.
Christmas is coming! How great it would be if we could really
experience His Birth again
within our hearts!
A baby is to be born! A very
special Baby! What can we give Him?
What special gift could possibly
be good enough?
Jesus gave us just one commandment: “Love one another”.
He also told us that we should forgive our neighbors.(70 times 7!)
In these days before Christmas--this Advent time-- perhaps
the greatest gift we could give
Him would be to honor those
teachings. And in the process, blessedly, we would also give
a great gift to ourselves! The gift
of Love and freedom from bitterness!
Prepare ye the way of the Lord!-
Get ready for His coming by giving
up on bitterness toward someone who has “done you wrong.”
Forgiveness is as much for our own sake as for the one we are
forgiving.
There can be no true Love without first forgiveness and He commanded us to
“Love one another!”.
Prepare for Christmas this December
by giving Jesus the greatest birthday present possible.

Love
prepares the way!
Be
prepared for the best Christmas ever!
