AUTUMN
Well, Autumn came quickly this year!
Strange—Everyone agrees on this!
We all know
it not to be possible-but
somehow, Summer
2007 just zipped by in a flash!--and
NOW IT IS AUTUMN--and a
beautiful one at that, but
the Fall of
the year is also sort of sad for most of us.
It is a “Getting ready to say Goodbye” time to
the past
year.
(Sort of like the last day of camp at the closing
ceremony) I guess
Autumn is God’s
“Closing Ceremony”
for each year.
Boy , He does it
right, doesn’t He?
And in His
Wisdom, He again gives us a chance to
reflect on our
lives. “Was 2007 all I could have made it”
“Wow! this was the best year of my life!”
“I’d like
to forget about this year--It was really difficult for
me.”
Whatever
your perspective on the past year may be,
realize that--
Again, in His Wisdom, it was more of those
lessons we talked about in the September Morning
Watch. How
we handle those lesson is what our lives
are all about.
Opportunities are really what they are!
Gifts from
our Creator.
It’s nice
to realize that He didn’t just make us and then
toss us out on
our own! He sends us these gifts/
opportunities/ lessons
to help us on our way!
So as we
get ready to say “Goodbye” to 2007, let’s
also say “Thank
you” to the One in charge of it all!
